Prästkragen Preschool is located in Vankiva, the former vicarage, 5 km north of Hässleholm, and consists of 33 children divided into three departments.

The main operator of the preschool is the Church of Sweden, Bjärnum Parish, and we work with a Christian profile. Our values are based on the Golden Rule, and we work together to ensure that everyone feels good, safe, and happy with us.

Qualifications

We are looking for a trained chef (or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer) who wants to help create a safe and inspiring dining experience for everyone at our preschool.

You should have good knowledge of self-control and special diets/allergies, experience in menu and nutrition planning, as well as meal composition for children. You have the ability to organize, plan, and prioritize your work effectively, and you have some computer skills.

We expect you to be able to work independently as well as in a team. We value flexibility and teamwork skills. Personal suitability is of great importance. We expect you to share the beliefs and values of the Church of Sweden.

Job Responsibilities

As a chef at Prästkragen Preschool, you are responsible for providing children and educators with a positive and varied dining experience. You are an important part of the preschool's health focus.

You will cook from scratch and be responsible for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. You will plan menus with nutritious, healthy, seasonal, and organic meals for all days of the week and for various special diets.

You will make digital orders based on given budget frameworks. Furthermore, you will organize the daily work in the kitchen, such as hygiene, self-control, quality standards, invoice management, dishwashing, and cleaning.

According to the Education Act (2010:800), a police record extract is required to work in preschool, school, or childcare. You apply digitally via the police's website.
